Once In Melbourne the club is locates 25 minutes from Melbourne city, the second biggest city in Australia and home to such events as the Australian Open tennis tournament and the Australian F1 GP. Melbourne is a strong cosmopolitan city with a breadth of shopping, nightlife and associated activities. It is well know as the Australian city with good coffee, fashion and food, including multiple 1,2 and 3 hat restaurants less than 20 minutes away.
Black Rock is also well catered for with multiple dinning areas including a micro brewery 1.2km from the club, in the heart of Black Rock. 10 minutes up the road is St Kilda which has a vibrant restaurant culture and weekly markets.
Two major shopping centres are located near by, both with over 100 outlets and all major departments stores represented. Travelers will not have to go far to grab a bargain.

Visit Victoria
Just 50 minutes from Black Rock is the Morningnton Peninsula which offers countless wineries, surf and bay beaches, local produce, horse back riding, Japanese hot springs and countless other activities a short drive from the club.
For those happy to travel a little further attraction such as Torquay and the world famous Bells beach are located 90 minutes from the club. Access is via 2 to 3 lane highways for the majority of the journey and the trip opens up countless further opportunities to explore around the Geelong district and the great ocean road.
To the North (70 minutes) is the Yarra Valley district with world class wineries and restaurants. Close by is the district of Hepburn which offers Natural Springs, Spa and relaxation retreats to appease even the most tired sailor.
